Valentine’s Day Guide: What to Wear and Share

Blog-VDay-Featured-1

Valentine’s Day is a time to celebrate love: love for a significant other, love for your family, and love for your friends. So no matter whom you’re celebrating with, have a little fun and dress up for the occasion!

For a fun night celebrating with the girls, you can be comfy and cute with a Henley dress paired with low-heel booties. Add a red bag for a festive punch.

Celebrate with the guys with a casual outfit that shows you have your own style and are down for a good time.

This cozy Woolrich sweater is the perfect choice for a hiking date. Pair it with skinny jeans, a warm beanie, and boots for a cute and practical look.

Warm red layers show you’re thoughtful and put effort in for V-day (major points). Neutral accessories and jeans make the outfit timelessly trendy and wearable for an outdoor adventure.

You just can’t go wrong with a classic LBD. Add this great Nina clutch and strappy heels and you’re sure to feel confident and ready for a romantic evening.

This Pendleton button-up has a little more flair than the standard solid colored options. The subtle red hue feels right for the holiday, but not over-the-top. A solid colored scarf and polished Red Wings elevate this look for a date to remember.

So now that you know what you’re wearing, let’s focus on what you’re giving. We’ve got everything you need to make sure your loved ones are taken care of this Valentine’s Day.

A classic leather wallet is always a great gift for your guy, especially because he’s probably used his old one to death. A belt is also a staple that gives the perfect finishing touch to any look.  Or, keep him warm with a thick pullover or durable slippers. Spring is still a long way off so he’ll be sure to get a lot of wear out of them (and think of you every time).

Jewelry shows you care because it can be so personalized. Heart shapes clearly say “love,” but does she prefer silver or gold? Jewel encrusted? We’ve got you covered. This frosted pearl bracelet has personality and beautiful detail, so it’s perfect for special occasions all year round. You can’t go wrong with some snuggly layers either. These pullovers work great in and out of the house, so she’ll be warm and toasty wherever she goes.

However you decide to celebrate Valentine’s Day, we know you’ll be well-dressed and well-prepared. And hey, who says you can’t get something for yourself too?

Valentine's Day Outfit
Valentine’s Day is around the corner and we want to make sure you’re prepared with a great outfit. Whether you’re celebrating many years with your loved one, finding new love, or making plans with friends, you want to look your best (and that goes for the men out there, too).

While we always appreciate a festive touch, our looks won’t have you decked out in red and won’t sit in your closet until next year. For ladies, we chose a classic black scoop neck with just the right amount of statement accessories. Cobalt Blue is a popular color trend and it’s one of our favorites because it’s not confined to a particular season. These cage booties add the right amount of sexy and are the pumps you’ll want to wear again and again.

For men, we started with the shoes on this one. A great pair of shoes can really make an outfit and these Johnston & Murphy’s don’t disappoint. Paired with a crisp (and festive) button down and a nice pair of dark jeans and you have the perfect date night look – don’t forget a great watch as your finishing touch.

No matter what your plans are, we hope you have a great time showing off this fabulous outfit!
